Prescott Arson Case Remains Unsolved

yavapai county sheriff officeSedona AZ (February 18, 2014) – Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office detectives continue seeking any information from the public regarding an apparent January 31, 2014, arson fire at 1555 Iron Springs Road, Prescott, in the Iron Springs Professional Plaza.

Yavapai Silent Witness continues to offer a $500 cash reward for any tip leading to the arrest of a suspect or suspects in this case.

Since the initial media release of February 4, 2014, the property owner has submitted a revised damage estimate in excess of $200,000 in part because of smoke damage.

Yavapai Silent Witness is asking the public for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect in a recent arson in Prescott. The YCSO was called to 1555 Iron Springs Road in the Iron Springs Professional Plaza on January 31, 2014, to investigate a possible arson fire. The plaza has approximately nine business rentals.

The fire was located in a lower level storage area. Investigators believe the fire was set early in the morning and discovered at around 7:10 that same morning. The owner of the complex estimates the damage at about $3,000.00. However, if the fire would have continued to burn, it would have been devastating.

Anyone with information about this case or if you saw someone in that area early January 31, please call Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232. A cash reward is offered and you never have to give your name.
