Sedona Pumpkin Splash

Sedona AZ (September 28, 2014) – Don a swim suit and join family and friends at the best pumpkin patch in Sedona. On Saturday, October 18, 2014, the Sedona Community Pool will be home to 300 pumpkins ready for the picking, right out of the water!

Pumpkin Splash is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and features organized games and prizes, pumpkin decorating, bobbing for apples, goodie bags and, at the end, every paid participant takes home a pumpkin. This unique event is fun for all ages.

Be sure to check out the glow in the dark bat cave, and test your bravery by sticking your hand in spooky mystery cauldrons. Back by popular demand is the caramel apple buffet; pay $4 to decorate your own caramel apple with yummy toppings!

T’is the season for bobbing for pumpkins in Sedona

Pumpkin Splash is limited to the first 300 participants. Everyone entering the pool facility, adults and children alike, must pay a $3 entry fee.

Purchase tickets beginning Monday, October 6, by calling the Sedona Parks and Recreation Office at 928-282-7098 or purchase them at the Recreation Office, 525 Posse Ground Road, west Sedona (near the tennis courts). A limited number of tickets will be available the day of the event at the door.

All non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

The Sedona Community Pool, 570 Posse Ground Road, west Sedona, has arranged parking on the nearby West Sedona School lot. Walking and biking to the pool is also an option.
