How quickly they change – those that attempt to preach to the choir are the biggest hypocrites of all. Take the one or two that begrudge placing their hands over their hearts as they refuse to pledge allegiance. Or scoff at the majority of City Council’s vote to uphold a moment of silence at the beginning of meetings. And of course on a larger scale the big boy athletes now protesting the National Anthem by refusing to stand.
In Sedona we have some of those making grand-stand appearances at public events such as the 9/11 Dedication who verbally attack others for not attending. How phony, hypocritical, and disingenuous are these finger pointers when they factually amount to no more than Sedona opportunists attempting to create false images.
