  1. Wsr says:

    @sedona club

    Your comment is that of a Tea Party member and BS artist like the rest

    Overlook the fact that a church is allowing a group to spread their hate and policitally slanted propaganda on their grounds

    In my opinion

  2. Michael Schroeder says:

    WSR? What’s that? Why does anyone pay any attention to an individual or individuals who are afraid to use their fill names. Is there someone’s kid playing on the website?

    Either it is a juvenile our someone too embarrassed to identify themself and stand up for what they believe. I have to assume that these are kids playing on their parents computers.

    The conversation started as an open invite to anyone that wanted to hear about Islam and the history of Islam. I certainly would want to try to ascertain info from a PHD learned in the subject than some political hack on t.v.TV or theinternet.

    For those who would like to see a version from the professor, may not be 100% compared to what he lectured and took questions on last Thursday, below is a link. The presentation various with the audience.

    People have a choice to read a headline and a 30 rap on a subject or get educated.

    There are three types of individuals on the planet.

    1. Those incapable of learning, a mental disorder of some sort.
    2. Ignorant individuals, which is basically all of us as no one knows everything so we as humans are all ignorant about millions of things
    3. Idiots, people who have the opportunity to learn and get educated but because they have an ideology that is like a religion they refuse to even try.

    When it comes to a subject, determine which classification you are in and take the necessary action. OR, choose to do nothing but if you open your mouth without engaging your brain you automatically fall into category 3.

  3. Wsr says:

    @mike S

    You mean get educated by a Tea Party slanted propaganda machine…. Propoganda that should not be viewed on the grounds of a tax exempt cowboy church……

    Hey Mike you got all the money in the world to grease your BS political machine…..why not hold you little Hate movie at your house? Whith all your friends who are so so impressed by your money like JRick.

  4. Eddie S. Maddock says:

    Thank you, Michael Schroeder, for the information. Several years ago I did attend an event at the Cowboy Church that happened to be an invitation from a member. The purpose was a buffet dinner; the cause being to entice new members.

    Also and I can’t say for certain which of the churches on Dry Creek Road hosted musical performances, such at the Sedona Sinfonietta. I attended many of those with Mille Leenhouts. Her late husband, Dr. Thomas Leenhouts, was among the founders of both the Sinfonietta and the Sedona Chamber Music. I also recall performances at other city churches as well. And added to the mix was at least one public meeting at the synagogue in our area, the purpose to discuss the implementation of ADU’s – Auxiliary Dwelling Units, a City of Sedona issue.

    It’s very difficult to figure out the upheaval about the nature of this article. Other interesting lectures have been noticed on Sedona Eye, and my reason for not attending is because I’m not inclined to go to evening events. Reflecting back to the hot issue of a National Monument Designation, was there not a public meeting held in another church recreation hall in addition to the one at the Cowboy Church which had been rented out for that purpose?

    When people tend to protest too much sometimes it’s a reflection of fear – probably for a variety of reasons but to attack might be the easy or fool’s way out to cover up other activities by changing focus, redirecting issues. As in a case of finger pointing by those most guilty of covert activities. To stir up this much controversy just might be a very good thing.

    Just a thought.

  5. Susan Amon says:

    Hello Eddie, the Sinfonietta concerts were at the adjacent church not the Cowboy church, can’t remember the name at the moment. I am a former board member and player in the orchestra. I remember Tom and Mille from Chamber Music Sedona when my husband was president of the board of CMS. Indeed CMS used many venues in Sedona.

    I was also the tech person for Arizona Liberty during the NM debate. They had meetings at many local churches, at least 2 other churches. CC4A has their regular meetings at the Cowboy church which has been reported here in this article. They are two separate groups AZL and CC4A.

    I am jumping into this discussion late but just wanted to say this.

  6. J. Rick Normand says:

    @Eddie Maddock,

    In your comment above you said “It’s very difficult to figure out the upheaval about the nature of this article…” and “When people tend to protest too much sometimes it’s a reflection of fear..” If you apply these thoughts to Wsr you can clearly see that she is a Marxist, a hater of capitalism, a hater of conservative scholars, an absolute environmental fanatic and an ATHEIST…ergo her hatred for all churches and successful entrepreneurs associated with those churches. She’s just found the Cowboy Church to be an easier target at the moment. What it really comes down to, as to Wsr and her other half, WSR, is that they hate America, its Constitution, its Founding Fathers, it’s historical religious roots, as well as people who have been successful thanks to capitalism. Meanwhile, they’re completely preoccupied with the Tea Party even though they have no idea who gave birth to it and who’s involved with it. Substitute the words “Christianity and Capitalism” for the words “Tea Party” in their tedious comments and you will get a much better understanding of WSR’s and Wsr’s dangerous and so very bitter joint psychosis. And, btw, I want to thank the The Thought Proctologist for helping us all to better understand the behavioral sickness within these types of inveterate hecklers.

    JRN

  7. E. Maddock says:

    Thank you Susan Amon for straightening me out on which church had the concerts. Those I attended were performed by the Sinfonietta. I recall meeting up with you one afternoon at the park in the VOC at which time we did, in fact, have an interesting chat about the Chamber Music.

    And yes, Rick, I do get your point(s) – well taken, indeed. The gist of what I was attempting to convey is that many churches in Sedona (and elsewhere I presume) are used for events other than religious services. My reference to this particular article was maybe a futile attempt to point out that those on attack aren’t really going after the concept that the Cowboy Church is breaking a law (non-profit, tax exempt). Otherwise they would be going after all churches, in Sedona and elsewhere. The reason for selective discrimination, of course, is reflected in your explanation.

  8. Wsr says:

    @jrn

    First off JRN. You are (deleted by editor)

    The link below is where the double-talking tea party really shows support for those libertys they always clamor about..

    Double talking (deleted by editor) and hate mongering
    Way to go Cowboy Church by giving (deleted by editor) a space to hold there double talking (deleted by editor) hate talks and potentially violating IRS rules pertaining to Non profit organizations

  9. Wsr says:

    (SedonaEye.com editor: This comment provided a hyperlink: dailycallerdotcom/2015)

  10. The Thought Proctologist says:

    @Eddie Maddock, Mike Schroeder and J. Rick,

    I see a deeper convoluted message in Wsr’s comments. She is, to me, so obviously a dovotee of Saul Alinsky. Alinsky, Hillary and Obama’s philosophical mentor, merely simplified Vladimir Lenin’s original scheme for world conquest through communism. Stalin described his communist party converts in the U.S. as “Useful Idiots.” These useful idiots, like Wsr and WSR seem to worship, have destroyed every nation in which they have seized power and control.

    It is presently happening at an alarming rate in the U.S. If people can read this and still say everything is just fine… they are “useful idiots.” “It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere,” said Stalin about those like Wsr and WSR. This explains the pure hatred of America spewing from both of them.

    Wsr’s and WSR’s obsession with the Tea Party evidences a deep psychological need to absolve themselves from worship of Alinsky and Stalinist communism, not to mention their ideological function as “useful idiots.”

    Wsr and WSR, I have just administered another cerebral enema to each of you. Pretty soon, there will be no brains left in your heads, not that there was much to flush out to begin with.

  11. sharlett says:

    I’m really not interested in learning any more about a religious group who would like to kill all of us………
    ……….so could we stop making Islamic ideals and religions a #1 concept of discussion on this site?

  12. Larry B says:

    And so who said you are forced to learn about a religious group or anything else on this site that doesn’t appeal to you @sharlett? You appear to be in the same league as WSR, wsr, etal. Skip the articles you find unappealing. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all problems could be solved so easily?

  13. The Thought Proctologist says:

    @sharlett

    I agree with you sharlett, we need to find a new subject to discuss here before I flush out any remaining soft tissue left in the heads of Wsr and WSR. How about this for a change?

    There truly are some valid reasons to vote for Hillary Clinton…click below

  14. Seth says:

    JCSVV is the most politically active and socially involved of the religious facilities in Sedona! Stop moaning about any of the churches involvements and count yourself lucky they do what they do. I guarantee you that you have not started a soup kitchen or prepared and served meals to poor and homeless or provided thrift shops for clothing and shelter like the churches in this community, like the temple in this community. The government doesn’t do it and has never done it effectively or well. The private enterprises and religious groups do, and they do it with no financial gain and no appreciation and recognition from the broader communities they serve. I suggest that WSR and others get yourselves to a local kiwanis or Rotarian group or Elks club or a nonprofit that serves lower incomes and put your indignation to good use.

  15. West Sedona Dave says:

    Seth, thank you for your true honesty…..I have another great screen shot to prove my point….Thank you.

  16. WSR says:

    @ Seth

    I agree with you…

    What I’m saying is that a church who allowis a organization AZ Liberty to hold their politically slanted meeting is not serving the purposes you referenced above…. Furthermore they are in possible violation of IRS rules pertaining to non profits…

    In my opinion

  17. Time to move on says:

    It is time to move on folks. The city of Sedona passed a law that churches can’t even discriminate against anyone. So go b_tch at them. Several churches spoke up and they were not heard.

    “civil rights protections to individuals with disabilities similar to those provided to individuals on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, age, and religion. ”

    The church can’t say NO to anyone now, It doesn’t mean they endorse it. MOVE on.

  18. J. Rick Normand says:

    @WSR,

    So now you think you’re a qualified tax attorney. Every church in Sedona, including St. John Vianney, rents out meeting space but none of them can discriminate as to who their lessees will be. As usual, in your terribly warped Marxist mind, you’ve got it backwards. You feel that your kind of discrimination, as an atheist, should be enforced against those who see their political views as coincident with their religious views.

    Why don’t you drop the “possible” IRS code violation claims and actually call the IRS and report what you believe to be a violation. They will send you a mountain of forms to fill out and once submitted back to them, you’ll get a reply of non-action. Considering how lazy you and Wsr have proven to be, though, I don’t think you’ll do it. You know, I really enjoy watching The Thought Proctologist make fun of you WSR and Wsr, but, in fact, your ignorance and hypocrisy are truly incomprehensible… and that’s not amusing to readers at this site.

    JRN

  19. @Seth says:

    Yes, the area churches do good things. Unlike incorporated City of Sedona with limited jurisdiction (city limits), the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley legitimately serves the entire Verde Valley as other churches have options to do the same. As for being charitable, check out the millions of $$$$ incorporated Sedona doles out annually to alleged non-profits. They are the ones that should be questioned and NOT the Cowboy Church.

  20. Wsr says:

    @@carl

    Yes but sedona doesn’t dole out money to tax exempt organizations that dole out hate and politically slanted organizations like Tea party political affiliations …..

    JRN. Don’t worry WE are on it already blowhard

  21. @Wsr says:

    Hahahahha Yes you do! u giveaway 3 million plus to r e g i o n a l non-profits a year that should be used on in city items. U r a rat! Hahhahahahahahaah

  22. @Wsr says:

    What the???? Who’s @@carl? Did a rerun of comments and couldn’t find such a name. It’s true – you’ve lost it (as if we didn’t already know). One thing for sure though is this dialog has become B-O-R-I-N-G!

  23. Susan P says:

    @ Wrs yes you do. You give money to the chamber, main street, and the film festival they hate everyone but their members. Thier members don’t collect the taxand they politically stnat the city government. You are worst then any church. You are abusing the people for private enterprise. This groups are not part of city hall, legally speaking.

  24. The Thought Proctologist says:

    @Wsr,

    You say “JRN. Don’t worry WE are on it already blowhard.” What are you and WSR on? Oh, I get it. My cerebral enema is working and you’re both flushing out what remains of your damaged grey matter. Ooh! What a disgusting thought when thinking of you Wsr, especially, you crotchety old environmental whacko.

  25. Wsr says:

    @ thought whatever

    You have me confused with someone who actually cares about anything you say or post…..you must be slightly touched in the head

  26. Hate Groups says:

    I Heard that…..

    Native Americans were bitten by attack dogs while the tribe was protesting a pipeline that was being constructed thru their Tribal lands…. The dog handlers are said to be members of a local Tea Party group much like the AZ Liberty group here or The Concerned Citizens for America……This is what these people take pleasure in…under the quise of Personal Rights or Liberty……Sad

  27. The Thought Proctologist says:

    @Wsr,

    No Wsr, I haven’t confused you with anyone else. You’re the only one on this site who hates America, hates our Constitution and Founding Fathers, hates capitalism and successful entrepreneurs, hates God, and especially hates women who are smarter and better looking than you, you aging old communist hag.

  28. Wsr says:

    @ thought whatever
    I repeat

    You have me confused with someone who actually cares about anything you say or post…..you must be slightly touched in the head

  29. Eddie Maddock says:

    Referencing the comment by Hate Groups, personally I have no affiliation with any political party. However, as a long time resident of Sedona never have I known anyone except greedy exploiters that have disrespected designated Native American holy land. Giving them labels at this stage of the game appears to be futile after unavoidably hearing news about the Hollywood gang and true wealth of this nation holding fund raisers for whichever political party that constantly strikes out against the Tea Party or whatever other group that’s disinclined to jump on their bandwagon of decadent wealth.

    One case in point locally:

    Seven Canyons, which after development I believe has fallen into several bad situations. Another example is the USFS land traded for the Cultural Park, contingent that in perpetuity it would NEVER be developed for commercial use. We all know what happened to the Cultural Park and it remains to be seen the future of the aggressive and dense plans soon to be put in motion.

    To no avail Native Americans demonstrated against both of those developments and to my knowledge the historic Boston Tea Party wasn’t involved then, so why is a resurrection of perceived similarity being labeled at this time?

    Greed of developers has no formal tag line but was the common term back in those days which wasn’t all that long ago. And just who is it still pursing desecration of the Cultural Park USFS land exchange property? Could it possibly be any of those that are so ineptly rallying against this modern day Tea Party?

    There is a higher power in control, and it isn’t the two groups being slammed in this myriad of chit chat.

  30. Why, I Ask? says:

    Why the continued interest in a meeting that occurred on September 1? It’s over. Get a grip. Move on. Oh, excuse me. There’s been nothing new for the regulars, WSR etal, to rag on so they won’t give up. Nag, nag, nag about old news.

    You want to talk national politics? Then why not write and submit your own article articulating your opinions? Sedona Eye is the only local publication that continues to uphold the policy to publish anything as long as it isn’t libelous. So could it be that’s the reason so many of your efforts are directed towards taking it down? Or could the reason be you are not willing to divulge your true identity which I believe is required for published articles. And for a good reason – to establish credibility relating to anything more profound than stupid one line comments.

    But just think, without Sedona Eye and if you were left with the two other slanted and biased Sedona publications (no need to mention names – we all know who they are) you’d be forced to find another source to publicize your displaced aggression.

    @The Thought Proctologist – will you please accelerate your treatments?

    Respectfully submitted,

    Eddie S. Maddock

  31. j johnston says:

    @ Why I Ask?
    Could it be the Sedona Chamber of Commerce is like a fungus growing on the brain of the city? Or like colesterol clogging up it’s veins? Whatever it may be, I just want to thank Arizona Liberty Group. You are our only hope for salvation. It may be that Sedona should be desolved, because this city was formed with ill intent, never caring about it’s citizens, or maybe the chamber should be brought down to it’s knees and all it’s assets being seized. Whatever the case may be, they must be brought down!!!

  32. The Thought Proctologist says:

    Eddie S. Maddock,

    Most certainly, I will attempt to accelerate administration of cerebral enemas to the tired old commie…Wsr.

  33. Wsr says:

    Hey how come I didn’t see any of you hate mongers at the 9-11 dedication today over in the chapel area…..

    I see ESM was posting her very important post on SE about the same time as the event…

    I’m sure that people as patriotic as the Tea Party could of taken a break or surely show some respect for the over 3k lives lost that day……I guess not….phoneys

  34. The Thought Proctologist says:

    @Wsr,

    You’ve spent better that two years complaining about everything America was built upon and stands for and now you want everyone to believe today that you attended the Sedona 9-11 dedication to mourn the destruction of what you hate. Give us all a break. You weren’t there today and neither was WSR. No way, no way, no way. However, your motives for your post today are utterly depraved.

  35. Wsr says:

    @thought whatever

    Will I was there honoring those that died and those that responded 15 years ago yesterday….Didn’t see any of you so called self-serving Patriots there though… I gues. You had better things to do…

    Also I heard the Jewish Community center and Christ Lutheran Chirch did service at the event to serve community….

    Unlinke your Cowboy place that rents you clowns a space so you can hold your Self-serving politically slanted and fear mongering hate talks…

    BTW JRN there was cake there….I know you clowns hate entitlements like SS but the cake was donated and I can’t believe a fat-guy like yourself would pass that up…
    Thought Whatever……your self-serving BS is very boring and tiresome…..JRN should give you a real enema…..You’d both seem to like that…

  36. Something to Think About says:

    Maybe, just maybe, if Wsr/WSR actually did attend the 9/11 dedication quite possibly the reason was to mourn the loss of the ability to collect taxes from the 3k lives lost and not the individuals themselves. In addition, those that advocate entitlements and to level the playing field, how many of the elite wealthy Hollywood gang are ready and willing to change their own life styles to fulfill that image? Ha! Dumb question.

  37. Wsr says:

    @something to think about

    Man you double talking morons are really really showing your true colors ….

  38. The Thought Proctologist says:

    @Wsr

    You weren’t there because you cared nothing about what happened that day. You hate this country and you know it. Cut the crap (pls excuse the pun).

  39. The Thought Proctologist says:

    @Wsr,

    The more I think about it, I have to ask if you actually expect any diligent reader at The Eye to believe you were at the 9-11 Memorial yesterday to mourn the victims of Islamic terror? Most of the people at the ceremonies yesterday were patriotic Tea Partiers. For that reason alone, you wouldn’t have been there yesterday. Secondly, you would have been there with WSR, but I would have spotted his big floppy-brimmed straw sun hat and there was no such person there.

    Moreover, your support for the Hillary/Kaine ticket makes me question your claim of being there yesterday since Tim Kaine is among the top anti-Israel senators. He is the top recipient of PAC funds from George Soros’s anti-Israel group, J Street. Kaine also has close ties with Jamal Barzinji, whom the Global Muslim Brotherhood Watch describes as a “founding father” of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. You couldn’t be there yesterday and be a supporter of this guy since he has tried to discredit the official 9-11 story.

    Like Hillary, Tim Kaine’s affection for jihadists is a quid pro quo: he gives them cover and appointments to positions of power, and they give him money (snip) The Barzinji-tied New Dominion PAC donated $43,050 to Kaine’s gubernatorial campaign …The PAC has very strong ties to the Democratic Party in Virginia, with … almost $257,000 in donations.

    The Middle East Forum’s Islamist Money in Politics database shows another $4,300 donated to Kaine’s Senate campaign in 2011-2012 by officials from U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entities…. Another $3,500 came from … Barzinji’s IIIT organization.

    The New York Sun has noted Kaine’s open disrespect and hostility to our ally, Israel. Mourning 9-11 just doesn’t comport with your anti-American belief-system.

    So, don’t ask anyone at this site to believe you were there yesterday mourning anyone!

  40. Al S says:

    We don’t go out on the weekends anymore. Too much traffic. We would of gone to the 911 memorial but didn’t want to deal with all the traffic to get across town.

  41. Jay Johnstone says:

    @WSR
    Only a moron like you would say it’s good economics to feed all you freeloaders the citizens hard earned tax dollars for your marketing. I guess it’s okay to run the city in the red and place the burden on the city’s stakeholders. Your day of reckoning is coming.

  42. Wsr says:

    @jay Johnstone

    The. Whole event was funded by private donations …..no tax money was used you friggin blowhard…..if you showed up you would of known that….

    Btw there was no traffic I traveled from W sedona

  43. Wsr says:

    @Thought Whatever

    Did you say something….I smelt a slight order carried in on a light breeze

  44. The Thought Proctologist says:

    @Wsr,

    Only you could smell a slight “order.” How does one do that, commie?

  45. Jay Johnstone says:

    @Wsr
    I wasn’t talking about that event idiot. I was talking about the millions of dollars the city council has gifted special interests. Namely the chamber of commerce. No fiscal responsibility or independent auditing. Just tax and spend policies while driving the city deeper and deeper in dept.. Thank god that stupid Jessica is out.

  46. Wsr says:

    @jay Johnstone
    So move out of town you crybaby D bag
    Aka Tony T

    You been bellyaching and acting like a complete D bag for years and years now

  47. West Sedona Resident says:

    I love calling people names, I work for the city and being one I know all about being a D bag.

    It hurts knowing everyone is laughing behind my back. I lash out here and waste your money to get even.

    Hope this helps.

  48. j johnston says:

    You move Jessica! You’ve already ruined Sedona. Go somewhere else and see how much hate you can spread and how much damage you can do.

  49. Ree Rawls says:

    @WSR By chance are you the same one DORR doesn’t want at meetings any longer? Just checkin , . Rumor has it you know. . .& something you said rang a bell

    You’ve smoked the 60s pipe for too long. That’s about 50plus years of change that you missed. . . buy a ticket & join the New World Order. . .

  50. Wsr says:

    I’m not Jessica. I love fooling your flat landers.
