Haunted Hotels of Arizona

Sedona AZ – The Sedona Heritage Museum is hosting the next in its 2011 series of Living History presentations on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Local Arizona author, Victoria Clark, will present “Haunted Hotels of Arizona.” Get ready for Halloween with some ghostly stories about some spooky places.

Clark grew up in Tucson and has authored three books that share her great love of Arizona history. While researching her book “How Arizona Sold It’s Sunshine” about the historic hotels of Arizona, Clark learned the delightful and frightful stories of ghosts that inhabit many of them.

After the program, Clark will be available for questions and a book signing. Refreshments will be served at this free Sedona public event. The Museum talk is suitable for all well-behaved ages.

Every year, the Sedona Heritage Museum presents a series of Living History talks. Speakers include descendants of
pioneers, long-time residents with historical stories to share, or other story-tellers about history.

The Sedona Heritage Museum is located at 735 Jordan Road in Jordan Historical Park in Uptown Sedona. Support of the Museum is important to preserve treasures of the past and present. Donations are always welcome. For more information about the Sedona Heritage Museum and its programs, call 928-282-7038 and visit www.SedonaMuseum.org.
