Harley McGuire Announces Sedona Spring Dog Training

Sedona AZ (April 2, 2012) – Dog owners and pets are vital to the City of Sedona Parks and Recreation 2012 spring training program. A variety of canine skill and behavior improvement classes and seminars have been scheduled ranging from young pup socialization skills to improving the manners of older dogs.

Sedona dog owners may choose from five spring training class options: Puppy Kindergarten, April 15 to May 6; Good Manners Class, April 15 to May 27; Rally Obedience, April 15 to May 27; and, AKC Canine Good Citizen Preparatory, April 15 to May 21, 2012.

Not to be overlooked is the well-behaved laddie or lassie with boundless energy. For this active canine, try the popular sport of Flyball. A new class this spring is “Beginning Flyball” from April 15 to May 27 taught by instructor Sarah Sheridan. All classes will be held at Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Ground Road, Sedona Arizona 86336.

Five educational seminars are also available on the Sedona Parks and Recreation schedule:  What is My Dog Saying? on April 23; What is My Dog Learning? on April 30; What is My Dog Saying at the Dog Park? on May 7; Why is My Dog Bossy? on May 22; and, Really Reliable Recall Video on May 22, 2012. Seminars will be held in the City of Sedona Vultee Conference Room, Sedona City Hall, 102 Roadrunner Drive, Sedona Arizona 86336.
