Gray Wolves Face New Wyoming Threat

Sedona AZ (March 5, 2012) – The following was received via Facebook:

Unbelievable! Outrageous! What kind of crazy person dreamt up the idea of proposing to delist the wolf and future management of gray wolves in Wyoming. Oh, it must be the governor’s friend, Sarah Palin! There appear to be serious omissions and errors in the proposed rule that may jeopardize and ultimately allow the hunting of wolves on national park lands, specifically the John D. Rockefeller Parkway, an important migration corridor between Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. But since Tea Party members deride any education, it’s doubtful these omissions and errors would be acknowledged. The American people rightly expect that national park lands are special places and serve as a refuge for wildlife as well as the human life of a tourist, not as hunting grounds for a species fresh off the Endangered Species list.

The Administration and the Department of the Interior must act now to change the delisting rule …
