Ms. McQuality won the primary race in August for the position of Yavapai County Superior Court Clerk and is running uncontested in November. Her appointment by Governor Brewer is made to fill the vacancy created by the passing of Sandra Markham in April.

Presiding Judge David Mackey stated, “I am pleased that Governor Brewer chose to appoint Donna McQuality as our next Clerk of Court. It has been a difficult time for the Court since the untimely passing of Clerk of Court Sandra Markham. Ms. McQuality is aware of many of the initiatives started by Mrs. Markham. Her experience and leadership in the Clerk’s Office will allow her to build upon those initiatives and start many of her own.”
