Sedona AZ (February 3, 2015) The Pines Motel, a family owned and operated business in Cottonwood, Arizona, has jumped headlong into the 21st Century by becoming the first hospitality property in the Verde Valley area to install a Dual Port Level 2 electric vehicle charging station and a Tesla Model S charging station.

Connolly Electric and Mechanical of Cottonwood, Arizona, a Verde Valley and Sedona area business for over seventeen years, installed the charging stations. Its owner, Chris Connolly, pointed out that his company already has been busy installing Verde Valley electric charging stations for private residences.

“Early on, we developed an expertise in charging stations installations. The motel location has the capacity to recharge two EV’s and a Tesla at the same time. There are many different types of electric vehicles, and because we design and install each customer’s charging station as required by permit and code and type of vehicle, we offer free estimates,” said Connolly.

Strategically located between Sedona to the north, Prescott to the South, and Arizona Interstate 17 to the east, the new Cottonwood motel charging stations will accommodate Tesla Model S owners and all other EV owners, whether property guests or passerby’s. If not a guest of the motel, travelers will pay a fee to recharge their vehicles.

Connolly Electrical and Mechanical is located at 2642 Union Drive, Cottonwood, and may be reached Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at 928-639-4251 or email Chris@ConnollyElectric.com for more information.
