Finalists for Judge Pro Tem Arizona Superior Court

Sedona AZ (December 10, 2010) – The Superior Court welcomes public comment on three finalists for the Judge Pro Tem position. The vacancy is created by the retirement of Judge Pro Tem Ralph M. Hess on January 9, 2011. 

The candidates are Douglas C. Fitzpatrick, a Sedona Village of Oak Creek attorney; Patricia A. Trebesch and Anna C. Young. Anonymous comments will not be considered, so please include your name in the message: including your phone number and/or email address will allow follow up for clarification or additional information.

The Honorable Robert M. Brutinel, Presiding Judge, Superior Court of Arizona in Yavapai County, will consider comments received when deciding who to ask the Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court to appoint as Judge Pro Tem. The appointment is subject to Yavapai County Board of Supervisors approval. 

A decision is expected before the end of the year.

Written comments must be received by December 15, 2010, to be considered.

Douglas Fitzpatrick was a candidate for the recent Sedona Fire Department board November 2010 election. A search of the SedonaEye.com web site using the keyword “Fitzpatrick” will locate recent articles about the Village of Oak Creek practicing attorney, including his biography. Fitzpatrick ran on the Sedona Fire Board slate of Fishel, Fitzpatrick, and Montgomery in opposition to the SFD slate of Demme, Blauert and Erick.
