Sedona AZ (August 27, 2014)– The following has been randomly taken from Collins Rhōg’s private journal, and reproduced exactly as it was written, by his own hand. The date has been omitted, at his request, but Collins view is always captivatingly honest, full of depth and color, heart, love, and perseverance in times of struggle. Collins spills his soul and captures his feelings with vivid imagery and heart felt emotion that oozes from the pages of this historic text.
The following is but a portholes view, from across the room of “The Life and Times of Collins Rhōg“:
– the cradle –
The cloudless sky, a blue faded canvass, contrasting green and brown snow capped mountains, which are standing in the cadet grey water that gently ripples as the wind silently whispers across it’s surface.
My shadow is long as the day nears an end. Peeling off my shirt, I spill my pockets atop the cockpit lockers and rip my belt from it’s loops…as if pull starting an outboard engine.
The bottom of my feet feel the warmth of Teras Reculsas’s deck as I move towards the bow of the boat. I hear my crash, penetrating the water’s periphery…cooler and cooler as I dive and all is quiet.
I surface…and the cloudless sky, a blue faded canvass contrasting green and brown snow capped mountains, which are standing in the cadet grey water that cradles my body….
