Sedona AZ (August 6, 2014) – The following has been randomly taken from Collins Rhōg’s private journal, and reproduced exactly as it was written, by his own hand. The date has been omitted, at his request, but Collins view is always captivatingly honest, full of depth and color, heart, love, and perseverance in times of struggle. Collins spills his soul and captures his feelings with vivid imagery and heart felt emotion that oozes from the pages of this historic text.

The following is but a portholes view, from across the room of “The Life and Times of Collins Rhōg“:

– on down the road –

I want to drive, on down the road…
set my heading, with no place to go…
I’m not sure, what happened back there
among the wreckage, of hurt and fear…
I’ve been feeling the pain, for so long now…
this hulking burden, I carry around…
it’s time I slip it, down off my back…
it’s time I gave things, another look…

seems like the gears just won’t mesh
and the wounds just won’t heal
it’s been locked in the past
but it’s still there to feel…
I guess my heart’s still beating….

I want to reach out and touch your face…
we had some good times!
remember those days?
please turn around and look straight into me…
where have you been?
who do you see…?

I had a dream…I remember it still
it was so different, from where we are now…
since I’ve woken, the stories remained untold…
maybe we’ll share it…
on down the road.
