Collins Rhōg

Sedona AZ (September 10, 2014) The following has been randomly taken from Collins Rhōg’s private journal, and reproduced exactly as it was written, by his own hand. The date has been omitted, at his request, but Collins view is always captivating and honest, full of depth and color, heart, love, and perseverance in times of struggle. Collins spills his soul and captures his feelings with vivid imagery and heart felt emotion that oozes from the pages of this historic text.

The following is but a portholes view, from across the room of “The Life and Times of Collins Rhōg“:

All These Days

The sun is rising
And winter is coming
You’ve gone away
And you’re not returning

The days are shortening
You’re so used to running
I reach out for you
As the leaves are falling

And all these days that you’ve gone
Have left me broken…
And all these days that you’ve gone
Have left me broken…

I still carry your picture within my wallet
Even though I know you’ve completely forgotten
All the things you said
I believed them all…
I believed in you
When you didn’t believe in yourself

And all these days that you’ve gone
Have left me broken…
And all these days that you’ve gone
Have left me broken…

I…, I saw your heart
When you covered it up
As the tears rolled
When you pulled away, I pulled you close
I tried to fight for us
But our battle was lost

Did you know that the heart that you held….
It is bleeding….
Did you know that the love that we shared….
isn’t fleeing….
You’ve got to hold onto someone
And the Storms… They come and go
But don’t jump ship because the waves are crashing
I’ll always be here to hold you when the sky is falling

And all these days that you’ve gone
Have left me broken…
And all these days that you’ve gone
Have left me broken…

The sun is setting
And winter is coming
You’ve gone away
And you’re not returning

The days are shortening
While you’re still running
I reach out for you
All the leaves have fallen
You’re not looking back
I see you faintly
And then you’re gone…
