Collins Rhōg – All or Nothing –

Collins RhōgSedona AZ (June 11, 2014)The following has been randomly taken from Collins Rhōg’s private journal, and reproduced exactly as it was written, by his own hand. The date has been omitted, at his request, but Collins view is always captivatingly honest, full of depth and color, heart, love, and perseverance in times of struggle. Collins spills his soul and captures his feelings with vivid imagery and heart felt emotion that oozes from the pages of this historic text.

The following is but a portholes view, from across the room of “The Life and Times of Collins Rhōg“:

– all or nothing –

there was a time, that we were the times
like a picture wrinkled and fading
we were the times…and we’ll never give them away

now here we stand…in our presence a distance between us
now here we stand…in silence, mourning the loss

and I saw your eyes, staring at me
scanning my eyes, to see what I see
we were hungry for life, we were hungry for rest
we were split down the middle, torn into scraps…

straight through my heart, like an arrow, I saw it coming
time froze to still, I gazed at the past and felt my heart pumping

so should we stop here, travel no further?
to just rest our souls, sleep under a shelter
Oh you leave me hanging on, through trying times, with ghosts in the night
I’m not scared…because you said that you’d be there…and I saw myself
so where are you now, when you leave me hanging on… and I see myself

we can’t go back, to the life that we’re leaving
we can’t go back to a new beginning
can we turn around and face into the wind?

if there was time, would we stop running?
if there was life, would we start loving?
if we could change, it’s all or nothing…
