Do you have time to send an email and make a phone call in an effort to invest in the image and economy of the Verde Valley and Arizona?
Will Sedona, Cottonwood, Clarkdale and Jerome Leaders join Camp Verde?
For the benefit of Verde Valley businesses (including Chamber of Commerce organizations), residents and youth groups, I the article currently posted with the SedonaEye.com “Camp Verde Salutes Arizona Anti Litter Groups”, I hope that all of you get your City and Town leaders (Mayors, Managers and Council members) to replicate and join the Town of Camp Verde effort.
A few phone calls to everyone mentioned could yield great results ….. Do you have time to forward the “Camp Verde Salutes Arizona Anti Litter Groups” story and make a phone call to those that could make a difference in the image and economy of our communities and Arizona?
Please ask those in POWER to recognize all of the ADOT Adopt-A-Highway groups on our highways and youth groups that help them, as the Town of Camp Verde is doing.

This is a portion of the “Work Session” minutes relating to the Town of Camp Verde’s effort to participate with and recognize the efforts of the ADOT Adopt-A-Highway groups on Highway 260 between the Town of Camp Verde and Cottonwood.
Rick Baldauf of the VOC wrote a letter in support of the Town of Camp Verde and their efforts. Rick Bauldauf is and has been involved in the ADOT Adopt-A-Highway effort since 2009.
Where are other Verde Valley Mayors, Managers and candidates of the topic of getting involved and recognizing the ADOT Adopt-A-Highway groups that improve our image and economy?
Just asking since no one is saying!

If the Town of Camp Verde gets involved in anti-littering activities to include recognizing the Verde Valley ADOT Adopt-A-Highway groups once per year, that’s a good thing!
If Camp Verde refuses to leave the bags of trash that the Camp Verde American Heritage Academy student collects along Finne Flats Rd. on display for a few days for education, litter awareness and recognition then that decision by the town leaders of Camp Verde will have lasting consequences in changing the habits of those that litter their community and the Verde Valley.
