BEAVERHEAD FLAT ROAD MILL AND FILL PROJECT - Mark your calendars and plan for delays!
Please be advised that April 11 – May 23, 2012, Yavapai County will perform milling two inches of asphaltic concrete for the entire width of Beaverhead Flat Road and placing a two-inch asphaltic concrete surface. This project is approximately 6.1 miles long and extends the entire length of the road between Cornville Road and State Route 179. Work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Expect traffic delays of approximately 20 minutes between April 18 to April 26. Maximum of 20 players per team and players must be 16 years of age or older. The fee is $275 per team. Each league must have a minimum of 4 teams registered in order for the league to be held. Sedona Red Rock High School, west Sedona is the site for the annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life overnight fundraising event. Contact Marlene Pawlowski, chairperson for the 2012 event, at 928-204-9981. The public is welcome to attend. Survivors and those with cancer are encouraged to participate with friends and family. This is a fun, supportive, and heartwarming time to join together to fight Cancer.
