Sedona AZ (April 7, 2016) – Harley McGuire here – and Mercy Maude – do I have good news!
Yes indeed – one of our most favorite of all people, formerly a bestest do-gooder at the Humane Society of Sedona, is back in town. Yep. After trying that California living for a spell she decided to return to the land of the disputable beauty. (Mom said I had to add that “disputable” thingy because our surroundings are specktactular but oh my – internal uproar never seems to end. It goes on and on like my tummy when dinner ain’t arriving to soothe my innards.)
Anyways – now that your appetite is whetted I’ll give you her name. The one and only, in person and on a new assignment, is: BETSY KLEIN !!!!
And in her own words, she offers the following:
“Dear Friends –
As many of you may know I have recently moved back to Sedona after spending the last year in Los Angeles. Thrilled to be here and very excited to share this event with you as so many of you supported my efforts while at the Humane Society of Sedona.
Working with wolves and advocating on their behalf has become a passion of mine over the last year and a half. I have had the opportunity to get to know Julia who created, wrote, directed and produced this amazing film. I am thrilled that the Sedona Film Festival viewed it and is now showing it on April 21st at the Mary Fisher Theatre. ~ Betsy Klein”
Join her and Julia Huffman at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre to view “Medicine of the Wolf,” a documentary by Julia Huffman, on April 21, 2016. There will be two showings: 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Meet Julia and the Founders of Apex Protection Project and their rescued wolf dog puppies, Thor and Loki. They will be at the theatre for Q&A. Sounds like fun.
An exclusive evening for wolves? No fair – what about me? If I don my red Thundershirt do you s’pose I’d qualify as a “working dog?” Huh? Maybe?
Forget it. Mom ain’t goin’ for it. Shucks! My assignment here is to spread the word.

We are in Walnut Creek, California, and my forever humans would really love to attend this. They will look for the documentary in this area. They thank you for the tip.
You did your job of “spreading the word” well
that one of your favorite people is back in
