BBB Announces 2015 Yavapai Advisory Council

Sedona AZ (February 3, 2015)The Yavapai County office of the Better Business Bureau Serving Central, Northern and Western Arizona (BBB) announces the officers and members for the 2015 BBB Yavapai County Advisory Council.

Dave Barrett of Barrett Propane joined the Council in 2011 and will serve as its 2015 Chair. Serving as Council Vice Chair will be Susan Abbott with Home Instead Senior Care. The two officers will be joined by Advisory Council members Connie Manning with AAA Arizona; Bill Fencken, BBB Foundation Board member who has served on the Council since 2002; Steve LaFleur with Prescott Import Car Service; John Stevens with Stevens Tax Services LLC; and, Mike Little with Chino Heating and Cooling.

“I look forward to supporting BBB’s continuing efforts of promoting ethical business practices in northern Arizona,” said Dave Barrett, Advisory Council Chair. “This year, our focus will be on expanding our reach and brand awareness in the areas of Flagstaff and the Verde valley.”

New member Mike Little joined the Advisory Council January 15 of this year and is excited to be involved.

“It’s important to me that businesses do the right thing,” said Mike Little. “For this reason, I appreciate the invitation to join the Advisory Council and look forward to getting the word out about BBB’s resources.”

BBB has served greater Arizona since 1938 with an office in Yavapai County since 2002. Over 800 BBB Accredited Businesses support the Yavapai County office. Last year, BBB processed 100,000 requests for business reports on Yavapai County companies.

“The Advisory Council plays a key role in helping BBB achieve its mission by sharing important industry insight and expertise on marketplace issues,” said Tracie Schimikowsky, BBB Yavapai County Director. “BBB appreciates the willingness of local business owners to come together and share the message of trust.”
