Barbara Antonsen Park Project Moves Forward

City of Sedona is advertising for Barbara Antonsen Park bids

Sedona AZ (April 27, 2011) – The City of Sedona Arizona is giving notice of an “Advertisement for Bids” and the sealed bids for the Barbara Antonsen Memorial Park Project will be received in the Office of the Sedona City Engineer in the Public Works office located at 104 Roadrunner Drive, Sedona, Arizona, until June 9, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. local time.

The City of Sedona is accepting bids from licensed, bonded and insured firms for the construction of Barbara Antonsen Memorial Park.

Copies of the Contract Documents for use in preparing bids may be obtained from the Office of the City Engineer/Public Works, 104 Roadrunner Drive, Sedona, Arizona (phone 928-204-7111, FAX 928-282-5348). The required deposit per set of Contract Documents obtained from the Office of the City Engineer/Public Works is $150.

The www.Sedonaaz.gov link may provide information Barbara Antonsen Memorial Park Project – Request for Bids. Sealed bids for the Barbara Antonsen Memorial Park Project must be received in the Office of the City Engineer/Public Works.

    There are so many notable people here in Sedona that might consider a part of this park in their memory…..seeing the Sedona Medical Center with names that have donated…..wonder if it might be offered to those who might like a living memorial somehow in this park…..Ones that come to mind are Dale Ehmke, Joe Beeler…..those who loved this community and were a valuable part of it.
