Folksville USA teamwork

Dear Sheriff Joe,

With your help as a Sheriff and Army veteran, please review the attached information about an opportunity for youth groups to learn, earn and get some exercise by restoring the beauty to “America the Beautiful”.

Folksville USA and BagReadyJobs are the results of an effort led by many Northern Arizona veterans and the First Armored Division-1/1 CAV at Fort Bliss Texas.

The documents enclosed include a American Legion newsletter that recently went out to 470,000 American Legion members could be the beginning of a veteran-driven activity that could help our youth and their families demonstrate that “America the Beautiful” is more than a slogan.

I hope you will contact me if you see an opportunity for us to work together on this BagReadyJobs opportunity as veterans and Americans. I hope you don’t feel threatened that this effort will reduce the prison population and your job security – hope that you know I’m kidding. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if fewer people were in our prisons and those who are would be out cleaning up our disgraceful Arizona veteran’s highways (Arizona Veterans Highway, Pearl Harbor Highway, Purple Heart Trail)?

    good message, hope he listens

  5. Dear Hope He’s Listening,

I hope all of the Arizona Sheriff Departments listen and those Arizona agencies that manage the programs where community service and debts need to be repaid are as well.

If our Arizona Sheriff Departments and others are listening then maybe they will speak up.

Maybe the SedonaEyE.com readers will send a message that requires a response from these Arizona agencies and that could be as simple as sending them a link to this story.

The time for others to take action is over ….. The time for the citizens of Arizona and the nation to take action is now! ……….. Isn’t it?

I have every reason to believe that Sheriff Joe is listening since he is a Army veteran.
