Autism Speaks logoSedona AZ (February 24, 2014)Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, announces the first-ever Over the Edge with Autism Speaks Arizona fundraising and awareness event Friday, March 7, 2014, at the 23-story Hyatt Regency Phoenix, the epicenter for the day’s excitement. Over the Edge with Autism Speaks is a fundraising event where participants rappel down the side of select buildings to support autism research, awareness and advocacy. All event proceeds will support Autism Speaks work, both locally and nationally, to increase awareness about the growing autism health crisis, fund innovative autism research and family services, and advocate for the needs of individuals with autism and their families in Arizona and beyond.

“This is such a unique way to come together to celebrate the joy our loved ones with autism bring to our lives, to share information and to advocate the effort to make life better for them and their families,” said Over the Edge committee member and mom to Bryce, Dawn Lee. “Talk about a leap of faith!”

Who will be rapelling? Lady La from LIVE 101.5 will be rappelling in honor of her brother and everyone affected by autism, Baxter from the Arizona Diamondbacks, and Seal from the San Francisco Giants will also be going over the edge. After rappelling, “edgers” will find themselves in the middle of a festive Street Fair where downtowners are invited to take a lunch break. The Hyatt will be selling boxed lunches and grilled burgers for all.

“We are the seventh Hyatt property in the United States to be involved with Over the Edge and are thrilled to be launching the first Over the Edge with Autism Speaks in Arizona all to support families affected by autism, as well as their friends and supporters who want to make a difference,” said Tom Delaney, General Manager for the Hyatt Regency Phoenix. “I have set out a challenge to hotel GMs in the Valley to meet me at the top and rappel down 23-stories together.”

    EXCERPT:

Certain metals, depending on what particular frequency of the electromagnetic spectrum they are exposed to, such as BASF_Carbonyl_Iron_Powder_CIP_DS_USL_sfs.pdf can actually absorb the microwave radiation instead of amplifying it. To stop the fireworks show of a fork in a microwave oven, simply coat the fork in a resin containing carbonyl iron powder, microwave it, and the fork will get hot but will not create an electrical discharge. I remember that it looked like the 4th of July inside that microwave oven. I believe that the basic physics involved in that simple event lends tremendous insight into what is going on inside the brains, intestines, and all the way down to the mitochondrial DNA of the EMF sensitive, vulnerable sub-populations such as the unborn, newborns, infants and school children, and the role these microwave emissions play in Autism.

The brain contains about 100 billion neurons and the intestine contains roughly 100 million. Both the gut and the brain are where Autistic children show abnormalities. I firmly believe that both the gut and the brain are being affected by the microwave EMF emissions that have become increasingly prevalent in our lives.
