Arizona House Fire Origin Suspicious

Walker Arizona suspicious fire

Sedona AZ (November 8, 2012) – On October 15, 2012 at approximately 4:30 PM, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported structure fire in the 3000 block of East Walker Road, Walker, Arizona. One of the residents had just arrived at the house and saw smoke coming from the currently unoccupied structure.

Fire personnel from the Walker and Prescott Fire Departments eventually extinguished the fire. The initial determination indicated the fire was noncriminal, but further investigation has concluded the fire’s origin as suspicious. Additionally, it appears a burglary occurred at the same residence sometime between the evening of October 18, and the early morning hours of October 19, 2012.
