adot construction helmetSedona AZ (March 2, 2014)The Arizona Department of Transportation will restrict the right lane on a five-mile segment of southbound Arizona State Route 69 to seal pavement cracks, just west of Cordes Junction into Mayer, today, March 3 through Thursday, March 6, 2014, between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Construction to replace the existing Del Rio Bridge on Arizona State Route 89, eight miles north of Chino Valley, Arizona, is now complete and open to drivers in both directions. Bridge work began in October 2013 with little impacts to the traveling public due to a temporary detour through the work zone.

adot highwayWork to widen and replace the existing bridge deck at the Big Chino Wash is still underway and is expected to be complete by early summer 2014. The work zone will be clearly marked by temporary barricades and signage.

ADOT advises drivers to allow additional time to reach their destinations and to proceed through the work zone with caution, comply with the reduced speed limit, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel. Always carry potable water while traveling and for pets, leash animals for roadside or off road necessary visits.
