Michael Peach will read Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at the Sedona Heritage Museum

Sedona AZ (December 8, 2015) – In celebration of the Christmas season, award winning playwright and actor Michael Peach will read Charles Dickens’ 1843 classic, A Christmas Carol, in the Sedona Heritage Museum historic (and heated) Jordan Fruit Packing Shed.

Guests will enjoy Peach’s dramatic and inspiring rendition of encounters with the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future as they teach miserly Ebenezer Scrooge what it means to be human in this perennial holiday favorite.

Ebenezer Scrooge is a bitter old miser who is transformed as the main character in Dickens' 1843 Christmas novella.

History lover Michael Peach is a long time “fixture” at the Museum where he performs an original cowboy poetry and stories show the first Saturday of every other month. His one-time special performance of Dickens’ work is about an hour long and appropriate for all well behaved audiences.

Each guest is asked to bring at least one nonperishable food item to be donated to the Sedona Food Bank, or a donation of $6 at the door. Refreshments will be served.

Arrive early to holiday shop in the Museum gift store which specializes in locally made items, movies made in Sedona, books, toys, and many special gift items.

The Sedona Heritage Museum, 735 Jordan Road, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For more information, call the uptown Sedona museum at 928-282-7038.
